Letters – George is irreplaceable
I was delighted to read your two-page tribute to that wonderful Glaswegian George Parsonage (May4th)
Just after Christmas I saw George out on the river in his tiny craft on a day of howling gales and lashing rain. I marvelled then at his dedication and if people realised what an amazing job he does.
It will be a sad day for the City when George retires.
George will be impossible to replace
